Medical Equipment Lending Library

It is in the planning stages,  but  FUMC is developing a new ministry for older adults and those of all ages who need special care.  This ministry will be for the Fredericktown community as well as members of the FUMC.

We currently have the following equipment available for loan:

Wheelchairs, walkers, 8” walker bag, crutches, toilet safety rail,1 set bendable eating utensils,spoon and fork holders, 1 full page magnifier, elastic shoestrings, reachers, long handle shoe horns, leg lifters sock-aids and long handle bathing sponges.

We hope to raise monies to purchase the following to add to our library's inventory:

raised toilet seats, shower chairs, bedside commodes, canes, baby monitors, dry erase boards for hearing impaired, large print books, magazines, etc…. and possibly blood pressure cuffs for health care professionals in our congregation to use at church functions to check members’ blood pressure to promote health and well-being.
